Physical BOdy Re-Boot
I usually do this January 1st and then again on June 1st (and if I feel like I need it in between that doesn't hurt either!)
What is a "physical body re-boot"?
It is a complete cleanse of the physical body...
1) Re-set your digestive system (which in turn will reset your immune syetem and every system after that) by doing a cleanse (no not the kind where you are crapping everywhere....uncontrollably)!
Go 24 hours without eating anything ; only drinking lots of water (preferably water with a slice of Organic lemon in it). If you are someone who cannot go all day without eating, then eat a light breakfast and then start at noon and go to noon the next day. This will give your liver and kidneys a chance to catch up and get rid of all the toxins built up.
Then after the 24 hour fast, re-introduce foods slowly and easily and start out with Dr. Oz's 3 day smoothie cleanse....
This powerful superfood juice recipe by Dr. Oz. is the famous green smoothie breakfast drink used in his 3 day detox cleanse.
This breakfast drink by the beloved doctor is supposed to start the “elimination process” meaning this high fiber smoothie with cleansing lemon, raspberries, and flaxseeds will help you detox by getting the toxins out of your body the quickest way possible!
He keeps this a low calorie smoothie by using water instead of a non dairy milk substitute.
Morning Detox Tea (1 Green Tea bag, 1 Slice lemon, 1 tsp Stevia)
Dr Oz. Detox Breakfast Smoothie Drink
1 cup water
1 tablespoon flax-seed
1 cup raspberries
1/4 cup spinach
1 tablespoon almond butter
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1 cups ice (less if using frozen fruit)
1/2 Multivitamin(from Wholeistic Healing) and 1 Probiotic supplement (from wholeistic Healing)
Dr Oz Detox Lunch Smoothie Drink
1/2 cup almond milk
4 celery stalks
1 cup kale
1/2 green apple
1 cup pineapple
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 cups ice
1/2 Multivitamin and 1 Omega 3 supplement
Dr Oz Detox Dinner Smoothie Drink
1 1/2 cups coconut water
1/2 cup mango
1 cup blueberries
1 cup kale (2 stalks minus stems)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice (1/2 large lemon)
1 tablespoon flax-seed (ground preferred)
2 cups ice (less if using frozen fruit)
Snack – Repeat Favorite Drink (Whichever one of these you like the best!
After 3 days of smoothies, re-introduce solid foods .... like Chicken breast and rice (but only a little of each.. keep them simple not much spice)
Keep your diet clean now going forward for as long as your will power will allow.....
for me, after I started my re-boot several Januarys ago... I never went back to eating junk......
MY body thanks me every single day and yours will too!
2) Detoxing / cleansing bath
You will want to do a bath every single day during your 24 hour fast and 3 day smoothie cleanse. This will enhance the cleansing process....
Here is why....
A detox (salt) bath is one of the easiest healing therapies we can do to facilitate our body’s natural detoxification system.
In this day and age, our bodies are subject to more toxins than ever.... if you knew he whole story you would be mortified as to what goes into our bodies on the daily!
Toxins are in the air we breathe, the food we eat, the medications we take and in the water we drink. Toxins cause irritation, harm and destruction in the body if left unchecked.
Detoxification is the body’s way of removing and metabolizing these dangerous compounds. It is a process the body does naturally without us even knowing it. However, the capacity of the body’s detoxification process is not endless.
A detox/salt bath encourages the body to efficiently flush out toxins.
Our toxic burden is a result of the toxins we are exposed to and our body’s ability to naturally detox. The more toxins we are exposed to, the harder the body has to work at eliminating these toxins.
The list of toxins that could potentially harm our bodies is almost endless;
many start their day with a hot shower, the water is contaminated with pollutants, the soap and shampoo is full of chemicals, the toothpaste has fluoride, from there we may have breakfast where the food has been treated with pesticides or even genetically modified.
We haven’t even left our house, yet we have been exposed to toxins that can potentially cause ill-health.
While it is impossible to abolish our exposure to all toxins, we can reduce unnecessary exposure, as well as improve our body’s efficiency and ability to eliminate them.
Taking a detox bath, not only boosts our health and well-being, but it also strengthens our immune system and prevents disease.
When metabolic waste from toxins builds up in our body, we get sick.
Let's put it this way,.....
problems with detoxification is one root of illness. If you feel lousy, it’s likely you’re toxic.
Sorry guys... but it's true!
It is important to enhance our body’s ability to detoxify and get rid of the waste, meanwhile minimizing our exposure to toxins. This is imperative for excellent health, as many of today’s modern diseases are related to toxicity.
The liver removes toxins and metabolic waste from the body by converting them to water-soluble compounds.
Once water-soluble they can be eliminated from the body through urine. Some waste products are not water-soluble and are transformed by the liver and excreted in the bile. The bile is then transported to the intestines where it exits the body through our bowels.
Toxins not eliminated or completely removed by either of these processes may be eliminated through our skin via our sweat.
A detox bath is one of the easiest healing therapies that can be done to facilitate and enhance our body’s natural detoxification process.
Typically, a detox bath is made with Epsom salt also known as magnesium sulfate, which not only draws out toxins, but has health benefits of its own such as......
1) Ease stress and improves sleep and concentration
2) Help muscles and nerves function properly
3) Regulate activity of 325+ enzymes
4) Help prevent artery hardening and blood clots
5) Make insulin more effective
6) Reduce inflammation to relieve pain and muscle cramps
7) Improve oxygen use
8) Flush toxins
9) Improve absorption of nutrients
10) Help form joint proteins, brain tissue and mucin proteins
11) Help prevent or ease migraine headaches
So when we are doing our cleansing/detox /salt baths daily during our "re-boot" it enhances everything we are doing.... and the self love we are showing is endless!!!!

I do a bath a day.......
Day 1: I use my "Energy Detoxifying" mineral bath salt blend
Ingredients: Pink Himalayan salts (raw), Epsom Salt (raw Organic), Sea Salt (raw). Organic Ginger Root Oil, Organic Lemon Peel Oil, Raw Organic Bentonite Clay, and essential oils of Ginger root, Cypress, Grapefruit, Fennel, Fir Balsam, Juniper Berry, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Peppermint, Rose Geranium, Rosemary, Rose, Ylang Ylang,Lemon, and Lime.
Day 2: I use my "Rosi-Lavender Anti-Aging" Bath Salt blend
Ingredients: (raw) Epsom Salt, Raw Organic Bentonite Clay, Eucalyptus Leaf oil, Spearmint Leaf oil, and essential oils of Lavender, Rose, Rose Geranium. Rosewood, Ginger Root, Jasmine, and Lemon.
Day 3: I use my "Spiritual Cleanse" herbal Bath Salt blend
Ingredients: (Raw) Epsom Salt, (Raw/Organic) Pink Himalayan salts, (Raw) Sea Salts, Dried and crushed leaves of Organic Sage, Thyme, Rosemary, Lavender, Bentonite Clay, and essential oils of sage, Angelica Root, Palo Santo, Frankincense, Jasmine, and Sandalwood.
I also use one of my "Sugar Scrubs" on the skin daily during the 4 day cleanse (once per day)... making sure to scrub "Lymph glands" in circular motion.
I personally use my lemon/Ginger sugar scrub, but you could make your own as well...
(I have a video on youtube that shows you how to do a lymphatic drain massage.. which I suggest doing daily... especially during a cleanse and re-boot)
These are just a few ways that you can completely re-boot your physical body.... but it is also very important if you are going to re-boot, re-set, and re-align your self physically....
That you are doing it "energetically" as well....
"AFFIRM" to yourself all 4 days that ...
"I love myself unconditionally"
"Starting now and going forward, I take good care of my mind, body, and soul"
"I will no longer let negativity affect me!"
"Life is too short to worry... I will let go and let God!"
Let yourself know, believe, and understand that you are releasing old patterns that were not working for you in the past.... so say...(or something similar)
"Today is a now day, today is a great day, Today... miraculous things are going to happen to me... because Today I will stay in love, light, and positive energy more then I ever have before... because I am worth it, my family is worth it, and I absolutely love this new more positive me!"
so now that you have a good vibe going for your physical and mental bodies....
Let's talk about a cleanse and re-boot (re-set) of your Energetic (soul) body....
Just as it is important to cleanse and re-set your physical body and your organs and systems; as well as your mental/emotional well being.... it is also vitally important to keep your energy cleansed and healthy (protected)!!!
For this reason, I typically do a cleanse/blessing of the energy in my home every Sunday (in an effort to clear out the old energies of last week and set intentions for the week ahead.. bring in positive vibes).....
Every 3 months or so….. a major re-boot of the energy in your house is necessary too! And when you do this along with the whole "Re-boot" program I have described to you... you will be absolutely amazed at not only how wonderful and renewed (refreshed) you will feel......
But how absolutely wonderful and easy going..... flowing everyone in your home is.....as well!
