What does your Face say about your health?

A quick guide to educate yourself on the "Warning" signs that you may harbor imbalances........ it's all CONNECTED

Hello? It's me... your face calling you!

Have you ever heard the expression "The eyes are the windows to the soul?"

Well..... According to ancient civilizations, this could not be anymore true! You see, the eyes can tell a whole lot about our current over all health and well being.

In fact, the eyes are the window to every facet of our beings in Mind, Body and Spirit; and in my world where I look at people's Eyes (and faces) during consults, I can surely tell you that everything I have ever learned about TCM and AYURVEDIC techniques........."Iridology" and "Face Mapping" is very accurate so far!

For me, when a person comes in for a consult and sits down with me, tells me their story about health and well being..... (as I am certain that other Homeopathic / Neuropathic Practitioners do too) The very first ting I am dong is checking out their eyes and their faces!

As they tell me their story, how they feel, and what "Symptoms" they seem to be having, I can easily see the whole picture and help them put the puzzle pieces together to "Wholeistically" healing their lives! (hahha get it, I said Wholeistically!)

Speaking of "Whole"....... that is a huge piece of all of this Natural Healing stuff.. it is truly a matter of getting to the root/source of the imbalance and taking care of the issue on all levels.

The Eyes, the face, the hands, the feet..... they reveal so very much about not only our physical bodies... but about our mental and emotional health too!

The Face truly does tell a unique story about the path that the individual has been on.

Every single thing in this Universe is interconnected guys.... and we as Human beings are no exception!

This is demonstrated everywhere in Nature, and also in the body. According to the traditional healing wisdom in China, as well as in many other cultures, the body is connected through energetic channels known as meridians in which energy flows to and from organ systems in the body.....

What affects one organ affects the other, what affects one system ultimately affects the whole of the body.

Your face is telling you about the connections it has to your mind, body, and soul......

The more aware you are of what your Face is trying to tell you, the more you can prevent dis-ease!

According to TCM the human body, and all of the natural world is comprised of a bio-electrical and vibrational energy current. In other words, the physical body exists due to an energetic life force that animates the body, ensuring movement, breathe, brain activity, emotions and more.

Our Ancestors knew how to "Cure" illness with Nature and Energy Balancing as they did not have any of the fancy diagnostic machines or Pharmaceuticals available....

THey lived their lives in love and in service of each other.... they honored the Human Body for what it is "A Temple". that houses your soul!

You absolutely cannot complete your soul mission you came to earth to do if you do not take the utmost care of your "Body"...... Your mind and your soul depend on this... Humanity depends on it!

Iridology?

Iridology is the study of the color, pigmentations, and the structures of the "Iris" of the eyes for diagnostics as it relates to the reflex response in the body.

In lamen terms... lol

You see the "Iris" or the colored part of the HUman eye provides the genetic blueprint of the pereson's body, and over all health! (pretty cool huh>).

The Iris is connected to every organ and tissue in the body by way of the brain and central nervous system through the "Optic" Nerve (which is directly connected to the Central Nervous system). The Central Nervous system is the main communication link to everything going on in the body.

So think of your brain as a hard drive...

It remembers everything that has ever happened to your body...

The Iris is then like the "File Folder".... so reading the Iris to find out what is going on in the body is the same concept then as someone reading a computer screen to find out what's gong on in the computer.... right?

Surprisingly, iridology is one of the oldest forms of alternative medicine. The idea of iridology, if not its practice, is more than 2,000 years old.

So we can use this as one of the tools as healers and Naturalpathic Parctitioners to help ourselves and our clients re-balance and re-align their health!!!!

What is Face Mapping?

Face Mapping runs on the construct and understanding that everything on the outside is a direct reflection of what is going on inside.

If we consider the connectedness of our organs via meridian channels, and the fact that our bodies have a self-regulating system, it makes sense that what affects one organ affects another.

Also, considering that our Skin is our largest organ, which make up the canvas of our external body, it only makes sense that if something is wrong with it something might also be wrong with the internal organs too...RIGHT?

Disorders of the Skin like pimples, rashes, or change of skin color/tone can signify an internal issue that needs to be addressed in order to heal the skin and achieve optimal health. (I work with many Eczemz clients and have had great success with helping them heal from it by using this concept)

More specifically, the face is one of the many microcosms in the body which guides us to the internal workings of the body.

In acupuncture, a practitioner uses meridian lines and points to stimulate Qi flow. Similarly, in face mapping, each part of the face has a distinct “Qi point” or relationship to the internal organs....make sense?

With all of this being said, let us take a look at how we can utilize this profound wisdom in everyday life to bring about balance and healing while improving physical beauty (thus confidence and add the side affect of well being and then aligning with ones soul mission!)....

. Below are the specific areas of the face and their corresponding internal organ systems. We also cover what negatively affects these areas, what each condition represents, and how to balance them.

Forehead – Small Intestine/Nervous System: The intestines are majorly influenced by our nervous system, in fact, our CNS determines digestive function. Deep horizontal lines across the forehead can indicate an overactive nervous system and poor intestinal health. It may specifically indicate leaky gut, SIBO, or a bacterial imbalance. Stress, work, and physical activity are Yang, which is the sympathetic nervous system.

Therefore, you want to ensure you balance these with Yin activities like mediation, rest, relaxation, play and sleep.

Other causes of problems here include poor food choices, particularly foods that feed pathogens like refined sugar and carbs but also any form of stress, alcohol consumption, and lack of time spent in Nature.

Nourish this area by eating prebiotic and probiotic foods like raw cacao, colorful veggies, and sauerkraut. Also by chewing more thoroughly, eating only when relaxed, taking probiotics and digestive enzymes with meals, taking bone broth, collagen and glutamine to heal the small intestine and practicing yoga or Qi Gong to activate the parasympathetic Yin state.

Forehead Corners – Kidney/Bladder: The corners of the forehead, by the temples, represent the Kidney and Bladder system. Grooves, lines, growths of progressive acne in this area indicates issues with the Kidney organ system. The kidneys are damaged by chronic fear and stress response (being overly reactive). Also, sugar, medications, chronic infections, inflammation and any excessive behavior weakens these glands.

Take proactive steps to support the kidneys including decreasing stress, consuming healthy amounts of fluids (spring water, raw coconut water, herbal tea), get adequate rest, and utilize herbs like Lycium, parsley, Chanca Peidra and He Shou Wu.

Between the Eyebrows – Liver: The liver rules detoxification, digestion and the emotions. If the body is overburdened with toxins, hard to digest processed foods and negative emotions, it shows up in this area. Also, each organ system has a corresponding emotion, for the liver it is anger. Perhaps this is why chronically angry and frustrated people are more likely to have a deep groove in their forehead between the eyes. Also, the liver is connected most strongly to the skin – vernally speaking, any skin issues indicate a liver imbalance

so caring for your skin also helps the liver. Therefore, when decreasing your toxic intake, be sure to swap any toxic skincare products for ones like this....... http://www.wholeistichealing.net/store/products/34395-anti-aging-facial-care-kit-rosi-lavender

Organic Non-Chemical ones like Wuoleistic Healing makes (where they heal you on the inside to make your outside heal too!)

To remedy this, care for your liver with foods and herbs like turmeric, leafy greens, bitters and healthy amounts of clean protein. Also, learn to relax, let go of chronic angry thoughts. Decrease your overall toxic load, meditate, take walks in nature, and do not take life too seriously.

Eyebrows/Under Eye – Kidney/Adrenal: The kidney system is ruled by the water element; it manages all fluid within the body. It is also responsible for our stress response. when the body is dehydrated from poor habits or high stress, it adversely affects the kidneys and shows in the form of under-eye bags, dark circles, puffiness, or inflammatory issues around the eye brow ridge.

Generally speaking, your eye brows should be darker than the hair on your head; if not, it could indicate a weak kidney system.

To improve these issues, drink enough quality water – sip it throughout the day and do not chug water as it dilutes the kidneys. Also, stay away from sugar and excess caffeine, along with refined salt as these weaken the kidneys. Eat mineral rich foods, get good sleep and handle your emotional stress responses.

Nose – Heart: Issues with the nose indicate problems with the heart. The left side of the nose corresponds to the left side of your heart, and vice versa. The whole area tells us a lot about the condition of the heart. Blackheads mean heart congestion, redness indicates blood sugar/blood pressure issues from excess alcohol, sugar and processed foods. Anger, grief, and stubbornness all damage the heart.

You can help the heart by opening your heart emotionally, forgiving, and being willing to understand others. Also, improve cholesterol levels by lowering sugar and refined carb intake and eat healthier cholesterol. You can lower inflammation with omega-3 fatty acid foods like anchovy, sardines and cod liver oil. Great herbs for the heart include Reishi, Pearl and White Peony. (please make sure you are getting them from a good source if you arent growing them yourself.... ask me if you need a source)

Mouth/Chin – Colon/Stomach: Any issues with or around the mouth may indicate a problem with the colon and stomach. Ulcers in the mouth for example may indicate the same toxic heat in the stomach or stomach ulcers. The colon is obviously closely connected to the stomach as a major organ in the digestive system.... it only makes sense that if things in the stomach are off, the colon will be affected.

According to TCM, the most common issue that occurs in the stomach is one of dampness. Dampness is caused by prolonged periods of excess heat, interestingly enough caused by excess raw or cold foods. Because the stomach has to “heat” up our food to match our internal body temperature, when we eat strictly raw or cold foods, the stomach has to drive up HCL production to warm it up, eventually burning the stomach out, leading to dampness.

Once an issue of dampness arises, there is often mucus in the colon, yeast and fungal infections and general poor digestive health.

Eating too many raw foods or also too many sweet foods can cause problems in this area. If you have a dry mouth or lips, this might indicate a dryness issue in the body, which is the stage between excess heat and dampness. Before matters get worse, seek balance in your diet. Eat mostly warm, lightly cooked foods, which promote healthy HCL production and manage dryness and dampness.

You can also remedy these issues with demulcent fiber like chia, marshmallow, slippery elm, and aloe vera.

Cheeks – Stomach/Spleen: The Stomach and spleen work together to extract Qi from food, they rule digestion. The cheeks are close to the mouth, so much of what applies to the mouth can be applied here. The difference being that more often than not, issues of excess heat show up primarily on this area. When the cheeks are red, it is an indication that the stomach is experiencing inflammation.

However, there are a few imbalances that can occur in this area.

Most can be remedied by mastering the emotions and surprisingly by drinking enough fluid (only between meals 1-2 hours after eating and 15 minutes prior). The stomach system is the origin of fluids and requires an abundance of fluids, so do not underestimate the importance of good hydration!

A Few other clues to look for.....

Here are some other things I look for when I do Consults.....

Slightly green facial hue: decreased liver function

Overly red facial hue: heart disease or high blood pressure

Yellowish facial hue: low function of spleen and stomach

Darkened facial hue: low kidney function

Whitened face: low lung function

“Folding” between eyebrows: low-functioning lymph, weakened immune system

Red spots or pox around the eyebrows: increased likelihood of flu, or sign of flu in recent past

Reddened eyebrows: overactive nervous system, lack of quality sleep

Reddened eye sockets: inflammation in the kidneys or back pain

Reddened nose: bladder inflammation or back pain

Swelling veins on the nose: deteriorating function of kidneys and bladder

Red lips: overactive stomach

Dark lips: low function of spleen and kidney

Pox spots or cold sores near lips: stomach ulcer

Red cheeks: active liver

Black eyes or black/ brown spots: low kidney function

Dark skin around eyes: deteriorating kidney function, likelihood of kidney “stones”

Black moles between nose lips: high levels of acid and toxins in the body

Darkening of black moles between nose and lips: possible sign of risk of cancer

Region between chin and ear has depressed scars, pox marks, or other anomalies: poorly functioning intestine (if this region becomes red, possible sign of impending diarrhea)

In closing, the secret to true beauty comes from within: emotionally, mentally and physically. There is truly no beauty treatment that compares to good health, a good heart and a clear mind. If you desire real beauty, then ultimately, the goal is total wellness.

You guys..... by now if you are reading this it is because you have awakened to the fact that you haven't always been lead in the direction of truth for your ultimate becomming! You are becomming ore and more aware of the power YOU have to control your life, your health, and your soul mission!

The more education you have ... the more empowered you become!

YOU CAN control your health and well being and you have the power to creat the life of your dreams...

You MUST take control of the emotions and limited beliefs you carry inside you that keep you stuck...

If you understand how nature works and that every single ailment known to HUmanity can be healed if you get tot he root of the problem..... (Or I should say if you believe)....

If you know the power of plants and healing whole foods.... and you take advantage of keeping mind, body, and soul balanced (because you have tools like this that show you when you are out of balance).....

and then you take what you know and create a healthy and whole life style where you are no longer putting process (matrix type) foods into your temple.... and you are only using skin care products that heal and nourish (please stop buying the expensive facial care kits full of chemicals... your body is interconnected as we have shown here, so when you put chemicals on your face... guess what? it goes directly to the organs that are connected to that area of the face.... so that is why my face kits are formulated to heal and nourish those areas on the inside).

Once we wake up and realize that the old Ancient ways of life are for the highest good of all Mankind..... we can then step into a new path!!

We have been taught for so many years that we have no control over our own health here in the US and that we need to have a Doctor tell us who we are and what we feel and how our health is gonna be!

ALthough I am not against standard medicine, for I feel that everything has it's place...... I personally have had many more great successes with my own health taking it into my own hands then letting the Docotrs limit me!

I encourage you to continue to learn and grow and take what resonates with you and what doesn't isnt for you....

I empower you to know yOU and know YOUR body, mind, and soul.... and to WANT BETTER for yourself!

I am here if you would like a consult for the first steps to your new journey into better health and well being!

I love you and I pray this will be a true blessing for you (or a wake up call).....
